Noojee Timber Trestle Bridge, Victoria
The Noojee railway line was built to service the timber industry in the upper Latrobe River area of Victoria. The line was opened in 1919, and closed in the 1950s. Just west of Noojee was one of a number of trestle bridges built as part of the line. This is now the tallest surviving timber trestle bridge in Victoria. The bridge has been restored and registered with the National Trust of Australia.
